“What a treat!”

“A surprising bouquet of wild berries (blackberry, blueberry, redcurrant) captivates us from the very first moment. Once on the palate, this magnificent little gem continues to delight with its aromatic profile, underpinned by a mineral freshness and an incredible, almost sparkling texture. A vibrant wine with plenty of personality, one that lingers in the memory long after tasting” (Le Monde, March 2026)

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Rated estate (2023 guide) 3*Stars (These represent the pinnacle of French winemaking. The finest terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical experience)

About the estate:

Antoine, the son of Marc Kreydenweiss, has been at the helm of this estate in Andlau since 2007; it is among the pioneers of biodynamics in Alsace. The diversity of the estate’s terroirs and their subtle interpretation have always been a strong point here, further enhanced by the changes Antoine has implemented (slower pressing and extended aging on the lees). The risks taken in vinifying many cuvées without sulfur (or with minimal levels) are paying off and do not result in the slightest flaw. A small range of wines made from purchased organic grapes has been launched under the label Lune à Boire. The Pinot Noir and macerated wines (not rated) are of the highest caliber. The standards have returned to the highest level with wines of rare vitality, and continue to deepen, with ambitious four-year aging for the 2017 Grand Cru Rieslings. These exciting wines, of rare vitality, have earned the estate its third star this year.
