Everything’s falling apart—even L’Ancien, which offers a 2024 vintage that’s slippery and rather watered-down, having lost its juicy mouthfeel and its indulgent flavors of cooked, spiced red berries. The finish is fleeting. Overpriced. What remains is the freshness of its 12.5% alcohol, which pairs well with a charcuterie platter. Rating = 2.5.
