Concentrated with a deep color. The nose is a bit closed. On the palate, the initial attack reveals strong minerality that is (too) reminiscent of Morgon’s iron-rich clay soils. A bit confusing, even disappointing. However, as it develops, it becomes much more pleasant and expressive. This wine should be opened and allowed to breathe for at least an hour before tasting.
