Domaine Anita

DOMAINE ANITA is a relatively new addition to the Beaujolais wine region. Anita NEUVEU established her own winery in 2015 after spending 15 years working at her family’s estate. The estate, located in Chénas, produces wines from six appellations (Moulin à Vent, Morgon, Chénas, Fleurie, Beaujolais, and Beaujolais-Villages), each situated on exceptional terroirs. Domaine Anita practices viticulture that adheres to the principles of sustainable agriculture, implemented on every plot. On granitic soils, where Gamay thrives, DOMAINE ANITA has chosen to maintain a high planting density to optimize grape quality: small berries, thick skins, and rich pulp. Anita, a passionate winemaker, has focused on producing single-vineyard wines from the very beginning. From harvest to bottling, the identity of each vineyard is respected, offering a unique character to each one. The famous Moulin à Vent “Reine de Nuit” was a pioneer in this approach: a small, truly exceptional plot was the first to receive special attention, thus revealing the extraordinary potential of its terroir. In 2013, winemaking with destemmed grapes was experimented with: the result was breathtaking, giving rise to the Moulin à Vent cuvée “Coeur de Vigneronne.”
