buddy wine

"The ideal companion for dinners with friends!

"This wine shows what was possible in the difficult vintage of 2024. Very young, energetic and lively, it has a healthy core of moderately dry tannins. Its pronounced minerality is as striking as its abundant aromas of black cherry and wild blackberry. The long, slightly sapid finish has excellent intensity." (James Suckling 2025)

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

Originally from Bresse, Anita Khunel, after a brilliant career as a road cyclist (she took part in the World Championships in Slovenia in 1996!) decided to return to the family estate that same year. There, she learned the trade of vine and wine before setting up her own winery in 2015: Domaine Anita. Today, the domaine encompasses six appellations: Moulin-à-Vent, Chénas, Morgon, Fleurie, Beaujolais and Beaujolais-villages. Anita Kuhnel is accustomed to a structured style, but each year her wines gain in precision and balance. 2017 is a great success. We're not far off the third star!
