About the wine:

A traditional Sauternes, whose golden-yellow hue with hints of amber hints at the concentration of its bouquet. The bouquet blends aromas of quince, candied fruit, and gingerbread (cloves). Despite its richness and opulence, harmony is maintained on the palate, and one can appreciate the flavors of exotic fruits enhanced by toasted notes. Pair this wine with the finest cheeses or enjoy it as a dessert in its own right.

About the estate:

Philippe Mercadier honed his expertise over the course of twenty-five years at the helm of Château Suduiraut. That experience now benefits his three Sauternes estates, which he manages with the help of his two sons: Château Haut Coustet, Château Pechon, and Château Tuyttens.

A wine that is sweeter than it is syrupy, no doubt due to its freshness and delicate aromas of exotic fruits. The palate is very well-balanced. It is full of finesse and lacks any heaviness.
