Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
From the family vineyard on the right bank in Vérac, near Fronsac, Hervé Lhuillier has created a true Bordeaux Supérieur brand, whose fundamentals are depth, authenticity, and careful oak aging. New Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot vines, planted on exposed limestone (the quarries are open to visitors), will soon come into production. While the density sorting machine brought greater precision to the 2018 vintage, we remain thirsty for more in terms of the somewhat exaggerated extraction and aging. Let's give the wines time to settle before considering removing the star.

Tasted in January 2020. Sour wine, very disappointing.

Nice, clean, precise fruit, slightly dry tannins, a little out of sync with the wine's pulp. Still good value for money.
