Wine rated (2018 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the wine:
A beautiful wine that is more elegant than powerful, with very expressive aromas of black fruit, violet, and flint, along with harmonious tannins and lovely freshness.
About the estate:
For the past five years, this Entre-Deux-Mers estate has been winning over wine lovers with its full-bodied wines, featuring expressive fruitiness that pairs beautifully with toasty oak notes.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
Starting with the family vineyard on the right bank in Vérac, near Fronsac, Hervé Lhuillier has established a true premium Bordeaux brand, built on the foundations of depth, authenticity, and carefully crafted oak aging. New vines of Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, planted on exposed limestone (the quarries are open to visitors), will soon begin production. While the density-sorting machine brought greater precision to the 2018 vintage, we remain unsatisfied with the somewhat excessive extraction and aging. Let’s give the wines time to settle before considering removing the star.
