" Juicy, crisp lemons, tropical fruits, honeysuckle, and white peach create a solid aroma. The wine is fresh, creamy, and spicy, leaving you with sweet, creamy sensations of green apple and lime. Best value for money in the Bordeaux Blanc appellation for this vintage!" (The Wine Cellar Jeff Leve 2021)

Rated estate (2014 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
The Thienpont family, owners of the estate since 1946, revived the Côtes de Francs appellation in 1983 with this first-class wine. Nicolas Thienpont, who is also responsible for a premier cru classé in Saint-Emilion, produces a full-bodied, generous wine with well-controlled oakiness, designed for reasonable aging (five to ten years). The estate is consistent and the vintages are of a good standard. In tribute to his father George, Nicolas Thienpont has produced a cuvée bearing his name, marked by Malbec, a grape variety he particularly appreciated. A wine with strong character, not without finesse."

About wine:
I love the white wines from this estate, and the 2018 Château Puygueraud is a vibrant, almost racy wine, with lots of lemon fruit and a touch of minerality, medium-bodied richness, and lively acidity.
