Ratings: Robert Parker 91/100, RVF 15.5/20
"Just what you'd expect from owner Yves Vatelot, the 2005 Reignac white is superb, displaying aromas of honeysuckle and lemon, buttery notes, and a hint of smoky oak..." (Robert Parker). Whether white or red, the Grand Vin de Reignac cuvée meets the connoisseur’s highest standards, blending the expressions of Sauvignon, Sémillon, and Muscadelle. A fine bottle worth discovering!

Rated estate (2023 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)
About the estate:
Yves and Stéphanie Vatelot are part of a generation of business leaders who became winemakers some twenty years ago. They have significantly enhanced the potential of this estate, both in the vineyard and in the winery. With the guidance of Michel Rolland, they produce red and white wines of exemplary quality and consistency, which rank them among the appellation’s leading producers.

Rated Estate (2023 Guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
This year, Yves and Stéphanie Vatelot celebrated their 30th anniversary at the helm of Reignac. From the very beginning, the couple has gone all out to position their superior Bordeaux wines at the highest level, following the advice of Michel Roland. With the arrival of director Nicolas Lesaint in 2009, cultivation methods have evolved to align more closely with organic practices. This work is beginning to show in the wines, despite aging that is still somewhat intrusive. Extractions are more precise thanks to six small truncated-cone vats designed to match the specific characteristics of each vineyard plot.
