About the estate:
In 1998, Bordeaux wine merchant Patrick Bernard (Millésima) purchased this 49-hectare vineyard, located in the town of Saint-Sauveur, part of which extends into Pauillac and produces the Fleur-Peyrabon cuvée.

About the estate:
Owned by wine merchant Patrick Bernard (Millésima), Peyrabon produces two wines. The first, from the Haut-Médoc, is easily accessible and has moderate aging potential. The second, called Fleur de Peyrabon, comes from well-located vineyards in Pauillac (4 ha), but the extraction and aging processes sometimes give it a slightly dry character. The wines are well-structured and offer good value for the price.

A full-bodied, velvety Peyrabon with a rich bouquet of black currant, blackberries, and a hint of dark chocolate. Quite powerful on the palate, it is brimming with well-integrated tannins leading into a long finish. Best enjoyed starting in 2028.

With its refreshing character, this wine unfolds in successive waves, with tangy red and black fruits giving way to a hint of mint. Peyrabon’s bouquet is remarkably refined, with delicate notes of blueberries, elderberry, and eucalyptus, as well as hints of licorice and cocoa beans. Of medium body, the wine features powerful, fine-grained tannins that provide excellent structure across the palate. An elegant wine that can certainly be enjoyed young, but it still deserves a little time to open up. 2028–2042
