Wine rated 14/20 (Good wine)

Rated estate (2016 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About wine:

This light-style Pauillac is supple and elegant, with lovely fruit. The oak will need to blend in a little more.

About the estate:

In 1998, Bordeaux wine merchant Patrick Bernard (Millésima) purchased this 49-hectare vineyard, located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur, part of which extends into Pauillac and produces the Fleur-Peyrabon cuvée.

Gault & Millau Wine Guide

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau

Wine rating (2015 guide) 14.5/20 (Good)

About wine:

Such integrity! This wine deserves time to develop its intense, tannic color. The substance needs to be released, and its fleeting fruity (plum) and spicy (cumin) notes will harmonize over time.

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

Wine rated (2014 guide) 87/100 (Very good wine)

About wine:

One of the few Cru Bourgeois wines in the Pauillac appellation, this wine reveals an intense ruby/plum color and a sweet bouquet of black cherries and blackcurrants. It has good acidity and ripe tannins. This is a beautiful Cru Bourgeois that will be enjoyed throughout this decade.

Wine rated (2016 guide) 15,5/20 (Good wine)

Rated estate (2016 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About wine:

In 2011, La Fleur Peyrabon reveals juicy fruitiness and smooth tannins.

About the estate:

Owned by wine merchant Patrick Bernard (Millésima), Peyrabon produces two cuvées. The first, in Haut-Médoc, is easily accessible and has medium aging potential. The second, called Fleur de Peyrabon, comes from well-situated vines in Pauillac (4 ha), but the extraction and aging sometimes give it a slightly dry character. The wines are well-structured and offer good value for money.
