Château Gruaud Larose

Château Gruaud Larose is located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, in the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation. Château Gruaud Larose is classified as a second growth in the 1855 classification.

In 1997, the Merlaut family acquired Château Gruaud Larose and continued the policy initiated by its predecessor in the early 1990s: to produce a world-class AOC Saint-Julien wine while respecting the environment and traditions. Several great vintages have remained exceptional at Gruaud-Larose, such as 1961, 1982, 1986, and 1989.
