"A vintage that will go down in history!"
"With a very floral and delicate bouquet, Talbot is a captivating, fresh, and delicate wine in 2019. Notes of blackcurrant, flowers, peony, rose, and blackberry. The tannins are superbly velvety, with a very pleasant hint of blackcurrant buds in the mid-palate and a finish with tension and an airy freshness. A Talbot that will go down in history. (Anthocyanes - Yohan Castaing 2020) - Delivery in wooden cases is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2020 guide) 95-96/100
Rated estate (2022 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, the pride of French vineyards)
About wine:
Full-bodied on the palate, with a breadth of texture worthy of its greatest vintages, long, generous notes of licorice, showing grapes picked at perfect ripeness, beautiful oak, a classic ensemble that could serve as an example to define the most original and purest type of its appellation.
About the estate:
This estate, one of the most popular in the Médoc, still belongs to the Cordier family. It produces an abundant harvest, which has gained in strength and definition since 2014. For many, Talbot embodies the ideal of Saint-Julien, with its generous bouquet, great stability, and reliable aging potential. A lovely dry white wine, aromatic and lively, continues to be produced under the Caillou-Blanc label. The intelligent work carried out with the help of Stéphane Derenoncourt in a cleverly modernized vat room and cellar is bearing fruit.

About wine:
Sample tasted from barrel. This rich, spicy, and smoky wine has generous tannins that balance the blackberry flavors. The structure is already impressive, showing maturity and density, which bodes well for aging.
James Suckling
Wine rated (2022 guide) 95/100
About wine:
Aromas of redcurrants, ripe plums with violet and other flowers. Full-bodied with firm, polished tannins. Pure fruit here with a lovely mid-palate. Give it at least 5 or 6 years to develop. Best after 2026.
Terre de Vins
Wine rated (2020 guide) 95-96/100
About wine:
The ruby color transforms on the nose into herbaceous and mentholated notes. On the palate, the attack is very smooth, a welcome to Saint-Julien, all softness, balance, and pleasure. The salty finish is enticing. Talbot is a classic.
