The intelligent work carried out with the help of Stéphane Derenoncourt in a skilfully modernized vat room and cellar is bearing fruit.

Subtle, skilful touches are present throughout the tasting, from the smoky turmeric notes that creep into the black fruits to the refined aromas that accompany the wine's body. Balance and freshness, with an extremely appetizing saline finish. Jean-Michel Laporte has been at the helm of this wine for three years, and he's doing an excellent job. 2026 - 2040

A powerful, imposing Saint-Julien, Talbot is fabulous in 2020. I love the fullness and overall intensity of this wine, but there's just as much concentration to maintain the balance.
