Domaine Agnès Paquet
At first, Agnès Paquet was not destined to become a winemaker.
Her ancestors purchased a plot of land in Auxey-Duresses in the 1950s. Until 2001, the plot was leased to neighboring winemakers. When Agnès’s parents decided to sell the plot, she shifted the focus of her career—which had previously been in business—to pursue studies in viticulture and oenology.
Agnès Paquet then implemented new cultivation methods : plowing, moderate yields, integrated pest management, and manual labor in the vineyards—all with the goal of reducing the estate’s environmental impact and achieving impeccable quality.
In the winery, the wines are made using indigenous yeasts, with very few additives.
Today, Agnès Paquet cultivates an 8-hectare vineyard across the following appellations: Burgundy (red and white), Auxey-Duresses (red and white), Pommard, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin 1er Cru.
