Domaine Agnès Paquet
Initially, Agnès Paquet was not destined to become a winegrower
: her ancestors acquired a parcel of Auxey-Duresses in the 1950s. Until 2001, the land was farmed out to neighboring winegrowers. When Agnès' parents decided to sell the plot, she changed the direction of her career from sales to viticulture and oenology.
Agnès Paquet introduced new viticultural methods: ploughing, moderate yields, integrated pest management, manual work in the vineyards...
In the cellar, the wines are made using indigenous yeasts, with very few inputs.
Today, Agnès Paquet manages an 8-hectare vineyard in the following appellations: Burgundy (red and white), Auxey-Duresses (red and white), Pommard, Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru.
