Pinot Noir
round and flexible
foodie

Best enjoyed young, this Burgundy Pinot Noir reveals the fresh, youthful aromas characteristic of the Burgundy grape variety. Rich and fruity, with notes of red berries, it’s a wine that offers immediate pleasure. Supple, rounded tannins lend this cuvée a light structure.

Rated estate (2020 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Born to parents who were winemakers and coopers, Sylvain Dussort and his wife settled in the area in 1982 and currently cultivate 6.5 hectares in regional and village appellations in Meursault and Chorey-lès-Beaune. Their farming methods eschew systematic pest control, and their winemaking relies solely on indigenous yeasts, following Burgundian tradition with barrel aging. Sylvain is also an advocate for the new Bourgogne Côte d’Or appellation, which he has proudly used since the 2017 vintage.
