Made from grapes grown between Savigny-les-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton, the Chorey-lès-Beaune Les Beaumonts is the perfect introduction to Burgundy wines. Very refined and complex, with notes of red fruit and raspberry, it reveals itself on the nose with great elegance. On the palate, it is powerful yet above all delicate, with smooth, refined tannins. A truly beautiful Pinot Noir!

Rated estate (2020 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Born to parents who were a winegrower and a cooper, Sylvain Dussort and his wife settled here in 1982 and currently cultivate 6.5 hectares of regional and village appellations in Meursault and Chorey-lès-Beaune. Their farming methods eschew systematic pest control, and winemaking relies solely on indigenous yeasts, following Burgundian tradition with barrel aging. Sylvain is also a champion of the new Bourgogne Côte d’Or appellation, which he proudly adopted starting with the 2017 vintage.
