"Stunning purity"

This Vaucoupin Premier Cru is wonderfully pure. Aromas of ripe fruit support a refined and chiseled palate. Very fresh, ideal with frogs' legs in parsley sauce, sushi, or mushroom risotto. This Premier Cru is full-bodied and aromatic, synonymous with pleasure!

Wine rating (2024 guide) 92/100 (2021 vintage)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

The Grossot estate stands out first and foremost for the remarkable quality of its generic Chablis wines. These are mostly produced on the right bank of the Serein, on slopes and terroirs that are in every way comparable to those of their illustrious neighbors classified as premier cru. A word to lovers of terroir Chablis: for those who appreciate the ripe Chardonnay grape rolling slowly over the tongue, and beautiful bitter notes evolving into dry, fresh chalk notes after seven or eight years in the bottle, here is a sincere range of wines with good structure. The estate is completing its conversion to organic farming.
