“A Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru awarded by Hachette: a true gem of its terroir!”
"On the limestone soils of Solutré, Chardonnay flourishes and produces opulent wines. This is certainly true of this Premier Cru, with its rich aromas of dried fruit, apricot, yellow peach, and white flowers, accented by hints of anise. The palate, full-bodied and velvety, displays the same aromatic intensity, centered on apricot, acacia honey, and sweet notes of pineapple on the finish. Generous and expressive, it would pair beautifully with a fillet of cod roasted with citrus and vanilla butter. 2026–2032” (Guide Hachette 2026)

About the estate:
In 1946, Francis Auvigue joined forces with three other winemaker friends to establish a small wine merchant firm specializing in Pouilly-Fuissé. Jean-Pierre and Michel, Francis’s grandsons, took over in the mid-1970s and expanded into other appellations of the Mâconnais region. In 2017, the company acquired a 7-hectare vineyard estate and moved into the former church in Fuissé, which was renovated into a winemaking facility and tasting room. Today, the business is led by Sylvain Brenas, Francis’s great-grandson, and Céline Hirsh.
