"A Saint-Véran that reveals all the complexity of Chardonnay, with intertwining flavors of jam, lemon, and honey—a delight."

"Ripe, sweet, and rich fruit. Candied citrus peel, apricots, dried peaches. Almost honeyed! Earl Grey tea. Quite impressive for such an 'inexpensive' wine. Real complexity, curves, and substance. But also fresh and vibrant. 2025-2030." (Jancis Robinson 2025)

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2023 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

In 1946, Francis Auvigue joined forces with three other producer friends to create a small wine merchant specializing in Pouilly-Fuissé. Jean-Pierre and Michel, Francis' grandsons, took over in the 1970s and developed other appellations in the Mâconnais region. In 2017, the company took over a 7-hectare vineyard and moved into the former church of Fuissé, which was converted into a winemaking, tasting and sales facility. Today, Sylvain Brenas, Francis's great-grandson, and Céline Hirsh are at the helm.
