In both cases, he has invested in technical facilities of a caliber rarely seen in the region, at the cutting edge of oenological advancements. The plot-by-plot approach is precise, and aging styles are diversifying, but the sometimes excessive oakiness still masks the expression of certain vintages.

Founded in 1945, the Cordier estate was taken over by Roger Cordier in 1971. The arrival of his son Christophe at his side a little over five years ago has not altered the wines’ exemplary style. The estate has remained at the top of its game for many years.
