Domaine Cordier - Pouilly-Fuissé Vers Cras 2011
93/100
Robert Parker
Rating: Robert Parker 93/100
"The 2011 Pouilly-Fuissé Vers Cras offers a pleasant bouquet of apple blossom, acacia, and honeysuckle that opens up nicely in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with fine acidity and wonderful aromas of quince and mango, highlighting a round and very precise finish. Excellent!" (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2016 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
A workaholic with a passion for terroir, Christophe Cordier is always on the move, his businesses constantly expanding, both the family estate and the wine trading business. In both cases, he has invested in technical facilities that are rare in the region, at the cutting edge of oenological progress. The plot-by-plot approach is precise and the ageing processes are diversifying, but the sometimes excessive use of oak still masks the expression of certain vintages.

Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
Founded in 1945, the Cordier estate was taken over by Roger Cordier in 1971. The arrival of his son Christophe just over five years ago has not changed the exemplary style of the wines. The estate has remained at the top for many years.
