Note: Robert Parker 91/100
"The Saint Véran Terres Noires 2011 reveals a relatively complex, nuanced bouquet with aromas of nectarine, honeysuckle, and jasmine that gently fill the glass. The palate is well-balanced with delicate acidity, notes of orange zest and lime that gradually lead to a beautifully elegant finish." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2016 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

A workaholic with a passion for terroir, Christophe Cordier is always on the move, his businesses constantly expanding, both the family estate and the wine trading business. In both cases, he has invested in technical facilities that are rare in the region, at the cutting edge of oenological progress. The plot-by-plot approach is precise and the ageing processes are diversifying, but the sometimes excessive use of oak still masks the expression of certain vintages.

Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Founded in 1945, the Cordier estate was taken over by Roger Cordier in 1971. The arrival of his son Christophe just over five years ago has not changed the exemplary style of the wines. The estate has remained at the top for many years.
