About wine:
Undoubtedly one of Errazuriz's finest white wines. I really like wines with personality, and this dry white wine has plenty of it. It is a vibrant and explosive Chardonnay made from grapes grown in the Manzanar vineyard, located just 12 km from the Pacific Ocean. The cool climate of this vineyard, combined with the schist and clay soil composition, gives this wine remarkable elegance. The originality of this wine also comes from the use of wild yeasts for fermentation, which takes place in French oak barrels at low temperatures. It has a very interesting aromatic intensity, releasing aromas of apples, papayas, honey, limes, and crisp pears, enhanced by mineral and floral notes. Superb liveliness, persistence, and impeccable balance! Serve at 54°F. Perfect with shrimp skewers, cabbage cigars, Asian-style pork stir-fry, pork tenderloin glazed with mustard and maple syrup, or charcoal-grilled cod fillet.
