Errázuriz selects its best Carmenere vineyards in Panquehue, in the center of the Aconcagua Valley, planted on the terraces of the Aconcagua River, for this wine, its finest Carmenere. Aged for 22 months in barrels, 60% of which are new, this wine gives no indication of the heat of 2020. Instead of sweet, candied fruit, we find ripe red fruit, light hints of herbs, and a lively, firm texture supported by juicy acidity. Unusual and aromatic, with a flavor profile that blossoms with black fruits, black pepper, and paprika, intertwined with scents of rosemary, black olives, incense, and cigar boxes.

About wine:
The nose is marked by tobacco leaf, spices, wild herbs, lavender, juniper, and white pepper, as well as redcurrant and black cherry. The palate is generous and supple, with silky, juicy tannins and a long finish. Delicious and layered now, but it can be cellared.
