Errazuriz

Errazuriz, one of Chile's most famous estates, was founded by Don Maximiano Errázuriz in 1870.

Eduardo Chadwick, who runs it today, represents the 6th generation at the helm of this landmark family estate. It is located in the Aconcagua Valley, between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains. In a famous blind tasting known as the "Berlin Judgment", the estate's wines outshone the world's finest. Today, the estate's vineyards are planted mainly in the Aconcagua valley, but also in Casablanca, Maipo, Colchagua and Curicó.

The terroirs by the Pacific Ocean are cool and suitable for growing Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, while the alluvial soils at the foot of the Cordillera produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère and Syrah.
