"The 2020 Fosiles red was produced with Pinot Noir grapes from vines planted about nine kilometers from the sea on marine soils and greatly influenced by the salinity of the ocean. The vineyards are now certified organic. The grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts with 50% whole clusters in open vats, which in 2020 gave it more freshness, necessary due to the hot year, and matured in oak barrels for 14 months. The maturity and alcohol are restrained, at 13.5%, despite the conditions of the year, the low yields and the small bunches obtained, with good freshness and varietal flavor, red fruits, cherries with a spicy touch, purity, clean and concentrated flavors, and a long and flavorful finish.
