The 2021 Soave Classico bursts from the glass with an intense explosion of tart citrus, crushed stone, sea spray, and bitter melon. Its medium-bodied texture unfolds on the palate, beautifully contrasted by a lingering note of sweet and tart green citrus and a zesty liveliness. Granny Smith apples and exotic flowers unfold throughout the finish, which lingers unexpectedly in the 2021 vintage. Wait—is this an entry-level Soave Classico? Bravo.
