Domaine Badoz
Domaine Badoz has been a family-owned winery for 10 generations. Since 2003, Benoît Badoz has been at the helm of the estate, having earned his stripes in Burgundy, Bordeaux, and abroad. His experience and love of the land have led him to offer two styles of wine for Domaine Badoz: a classic line that showcases all the distinctive characteristics of the Jura terroir and a surprising “new generation” line.
Located in Poligny, Domaine Badoz primarily cultivates the “Roussots” and “Grands Roussots” terroirs, which feature subsoils of blue, gray, and red clays derived from Lias marl, Triassic marl, and Bajocian limestone scree. The vineyards are managed using sustainable viticulture practices, with grass cover on every other row, and no use of insecticides or chemical fertilizers.
