"Gold panning in Jura
"Adorned in a golden color with amber highlights, this straw-colored wine initially approaches us on the nose with a background of volatile acidity, but very quickly comes fruity notes of dried apricot and candied fruit. Ample and warm, the palate is well typed, with a solid palette of aromas in the same fruity register. A gourmet craving in the heart of winter? Try it with a square of dark chocolate". About the domain :
He represents the tenth generation of Badoz at Poligny. Trained at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, he returned to the domaine in 2003 and inaugurated the winery in 2004. It took some time to go organic, but certification was obtained in 2019. The domaine's vineyards are located in the Roussots and Grands Roussots districts. Half of the estate is planted with Savagnin, which doesn't mean you have to neglect the reds. On some cuvées, he takes barrel ageing a step further.
