This Les Longes Combes Pinot Noir is a rich, full-bodied wine that blends notes of blackberries and blackcurrants with a hint of spice. Its silky tannins make it the perfect accompaniment to a cut of beef or a pierrade. A vintage characterized by aromatic finesse, the winemaker tells us he focused on creating a smooth, fluid structure. This is a red wine that everyone will love and that will delight your taste buds!

Rated estate (2020 guide) Selected (An estate or winery that impressed us with one or more of its wines, though we are unable to offer a general assessment of the style of its entire range)

About the estate:

Éric and Bérengère Thill farm their 5 hectares organically to produce a range of wines made exclusively from single grape varieties: staying true to his Alsatian roots, Éric offers a varietal interpretation of the Jura’s terroirs, particularly those in the south. The results lack consistency, with the wines marketed as “natural” sometimes exhibiting notes of oxidation.
