Certified organic since the previous vintage, the Faugères from Château des Peyregrandes is a very expressive wine, opening with notes of ripe fruit and spices. Its tannic structure lends it a certain elegance which, combined with a pronounced minerality, results in a fresh red wine with a long finish. There’s no doubt it will delight even the most discerning wine lovers!

About the estate:

Marie Boudal meticulously tends her old vines (24 hectares farmed organically) of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre—some of which are over 70 years old—clinging to the steep slopes of Roquessels in the Faugères appellation. She produces two labels: Ch. des Peyregrandes and Dom. Bénézech-Boudal.
