Domaine de l'Aster

Founded in 2014 as a family business, Domaine de l'Aster is now run by the 16th generation of winemakers. After a period as an exclusive cooperative member from 1932 to 2014, a return to the family winemaking tradition took place with the creation of Domaine de l'Aster. Today, Vincent (son of Jacques) cultivates approximately 8 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Pézenas terroir. From basalt to schist, through Villafranchian and Miocene strata, the estate’s vineyard features a rich mosaic of soils. Thirteen distinct soil types coexist and intertwine; their complementary nature offers a distinct advantage for winemaking, yielding complex aromatic profiles and tannins of extreme finesse.
