Coteau du Layon Patrimoine expresses itself on the nose with aromas of quince and pear, full of freshness and elegance. The palate is velvety and round, lingering on a finish dominated by a pleasant freshness of exotic fruits. The embodiment of Anjou's sweetness!

Rated estate (2019 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

Roger-François Béguinot, who made his fortune in baby food, and his wife fell in love with Château Soucherie in 2007. This 28-hectare estate is beautifully situated on a south-facing schist hillside between Beaulieu and Rochefort, in the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and Chaume appellations.
