Eye
a deep ruby color with beautiful intensity
Nose
It shines brightly on juicy fruit, accented by subtle woody notes. The profile becomes more complex with notes of wild berries and spice contributed by the aging process. A hint of zan, licorice, and balsamic notes round out the aromatic profile.
Palate
Full-bodied and firm, the wine is rich, with concentrated flavor; the tannins are still prominent but of noble quality. The palate shows promise and still needs time to mellow.
