With its beautiful, luminous golden-yellow color, this Savennières is crystal-clear and refined on the nose, with subtle hints of light oak from its aging. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, thanks in part to lovely mineral notes. The finish is long and crisp, with citrus notes and a salty aftertaste. A great gastronomic white wine from the Loire!

About the estate:
Roger-François Béguinot, who made his fortune in the baby food industry, and his wife fell in love with Château Soucherie in 2007. This 28-hectare estate is beautifully situated on a south-facing schist hillside between Beaulieu and Rochefort, within the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and Chaume appellations.
