With its luminous, golden yellow color, this Savennières is crystalline and pure on the nose, with hints of blond wood brought on by ageing. The attack is full-bodied and racy, thanks in particular to fine mineral bitters. The finish is long, chiselled and lemony, with a saline finish. A great gastronomic Loire white!

Eye
Luminous golden yellow
Nose
Crystalline and pure. The palette is restrained but marked by great purity. Hints of ageing and blond wood underline the iodine and mineral aromas.
Mouth
Full-bodied and racy, its scope is well controlled by its fine mineral bitters and a touch of root. Remarkably long on the palate, with a chiselled, lemony finish that gives it a long, saline, tonic persistence.

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated 16/20 (Vintage 2014) (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (2019 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux-du-Layon and Chaume find here a fine and sincere expression. A sure bet.

Rated 16/20 + Favorite (Vintage 2014) (Very good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2019) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Roger-François Béguinot, who made his fortune in baby food, and his wife fell in love with Château Soucherie in 2007. This 28-hectare estate is ideally situated on a south-facing schist slope between Beaulieu and Rochefort, in the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon and Chaume appellations.

Very disappointing; does not correspond at all to the wine advertised and described. Discourages me from buying Savennières again.
