Winery rated 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable production that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
With a long family history, the Bruneau-Dupuy estate is now run by Sylvain. Since 2012, the vineyard has been in the process of converting to organic farming. The estate covers an area of 20 hectares, bordered to the north by a forest. Half of the estate is located on south-facing slopes, covered with old vines planted in clay-limestone soils. The wines produced from these vines are full-bodied and have a long finish. The other half of the vineyard is planted in sandy soil, which yields lighter, fruitier wines best enjoyed young. Priced at less than 15 euros, these wines offer good value for the money.

Review by Mr. GILLES D. Published on February 14, 2026
Simple and unpretentious, this entry-level wine stands out for its freshness and crisp fruitiness, primarily from Burlat cherries. It unfolds with a clean, smooth texture and velvety, well-integrated tannins, ending with a crisp, lively finish. Ideal for summer, this natural and very easy-to-drink wine is perfect as an aperitif, for example paired with rillettes from Tours. Rating = 3.8.
