Château des Bormettes
This estate, located in the renowned Provence region in La Londe-Les-Maures, spans 65 hectares of hillside vineyards. Situated in the western part of the Maures, it enjoys a microclimate within the Côtes de Provence appellation. This family-owned estate, established in 1930 and led by Fabrice Faré alongside a team of passionate professionals, has continued to thrive over the years.
The vineyards of the Bormettes Castle are located 900 meters from the sea and undeniably benefit from a maritime influence, combined with the stony terroir of schist and quartz. The wines are unique and have their own distinct character.
The Château des Bormettes vineyard is managed using sustainable practices and features a variety of grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Rolle/Vermentino, Carignan … The vineyard is undergoing a complete renewal: mass selection of vines, modernization of cellar equipment, and a fermentation facility with a capacity of 6,000 hl (2018 production: 2,500 hl). All these efforts have paid off, resulting in wines that are emblematic of this corner of Mediterranean paradise.
