Château des Bormettes
This estate, located in the renowned Provence terroir of La Londe-Les-Maures, covers 65 hectares of hillside vineyards. Situated in the western part of the Maures region, it enjoys a microclimate within the Côtes de Provence appellation. A family estate since 1930, it is run by Fabrice Faré, supported by a team of passionate professionals, and has continued to grow and develop over the years.
The vineyards of Bormettes Castle are located 900 meters from the sea, undeniably benefiting from a maritime influence, coupled with the stony terroir of schist and quartz. The wines are unique with their own signature.
The Château des Bormettes vineyard is managed using sustainable methods and planted with a variety of grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Rolle/Vermentino, Carignan, etc. The vineyard is undergoing a complete renewal: mass selection of vines, modernization of cellar equipment, and a 6,000 hl capacity winery (2018 production: 2,500 hl). All these efforts are rewarded and give rise to wines that are emblematic of this corner of Mediterranean paradise.
