“A blend of Grenache and Syrah with a touch of Rolle, this pale-colored wine offers tension and refined fruit against a lovely saline backdrop. Its crispness highlights its silky texture.” (La Revue RVF, May 2021, No. 650) This intense and expressive rosé reveals pleasant aromas of red berries followed by delicate notes of vine peaches. From the first sip, the palate reveals a lovely freshness from citrus fruits, followed by a slightly sweet and smooth roundness reminiscent of crushed strawberries. The finish gives way to a more mineral structure that perfectly reveals the terroir of Carpe Diem.

About the estate:

Carpe Diem, the famous Latin phrase, means “Seize the day without worrying about tomorrow.” This motto is close to the heart of Albéric Philippon, who took over the estate in 2013. Situated on the clay-limestone soils of Cotignac, the estate now spans 30 hectares. Visitors to the region can find the winemaker and his wines every Tuesday at the Cotignac market.

About the estate:

In 2013, Albéric Philipon took over the estate from a family of winemakers who were retiring. The vineyard is located in Cotignac, in the heart of Provence Verte, and covers 18 hectares. In addition to these, there are 12 hectares located in a neighboring village, which the family has been leasing since 2017. All of the vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods.
