From the first sip, the palate reveals a lovely freshness from citrus fruits, followed by a slightly sweet and smooth roundness reminiscent of crushed strawberries. The finish gives way to a more mineral structure that perfectly showcases the Carpe Diem terroir.

About the estate:
Carpe Diem, the famous Latin phrase, means “Seize the day without worrying about tomorrow.” It’s a motto taken to heart by Albéric Philippon, who took over the estate in 2013. Situated on the clay-limestone soils of Cotignac, the estate now spans 30 hectares. Visitors to the region can find the winemaker and his wines every Tuesday at the Cotignac market.

About the estate:
In 2013, Albéric Philipon took over the estate from a family of winemakers who were retiring. The vineyard is located in Cotignac, in the heart of Provence Verte, and covers 18 hectares. In addition to these, there are 12 hectares located in a neighboring village, which the family has been leasing since 2017. All of the vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods.
