About the estate:

Carpe Diem, the famous Latin phrase, means “Seize the day without worrying about tomorrow.” This motto is close to the heart of Albéric Philippon, who took over the estate in 2013. Situated on the clay-limestone soils of Cotignac, the estate now spans 30 hectares. Visitors to the region can find the winemaker and his wines every Tuesday at the Cotignac market.

About the wine:

This cuvée, made from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Carignan, boasts a deep red color with violet hues. On the nose, it reveals aromas of raspberry, violet, and spices. A crisp attack leads into a full-bodied, round palate with well-integrated tannins and a lovely, slightly peppery finish.

About the estate:

In 2013, Albéric Philipon took over the estate from a family of winemakers who were retiring. The vineyard is located in Cotignac, in the heart of Provence Verte, and covers 18 hectares. In addition to these, there are 12 hectares located in a neighboring village, which the family has been leasing since 2017. All of the vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods.
