About wine:
Silky, sapid, easy to drink, vinified for drinkability, it is floral, delicate, and elegant, with appealing ripe fruit. Still young and promising, already delicious, it can be enjoyed now or kept a little longer.
About the estate:
Carpe Diem, the famous Latin phrase, means "Seize the day without worrying about tomorrow." This motto is taken to heart by Albéric Philippon, who took over the estate in 2013. Located on the clay-limestone terroirs of Cotignac, the estate now covers 30 hectares. Visitors to the region can find the winemaker and his wines every Tuesday at the Cotignac market.

Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About wine:
A deep red color with purple highlights adorns this cuvée made from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Carignan grapes. On the nose, it reveals aromas of raspberry, violet, and spices. A frank attack introduces a full-bodied and round palate, with mellow tannins and a lovely, slightly peppery finish.
About the estate:
In 2013, Albéric Philipon took over the estate from a family of winegrowers who were retiring. The vineyard is located in Cotignac, in the heart of Provence Verte, and covers 18 hectares. In addition to this, there are 12 hectares located in a neighboring village, which the family has been leasing since 2017. All of the vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods.
