Double Médaille d'Or
Gilbert & Gaillard
“The Elegance of the Costières”
“Deep red color with purple hues. A subtle nose blending stone fruits, redcurrant, delicate spices, licorice, and dried herbs. The palate is velvety and full-bodied, opening up more readily, displaying a beautiful, pure, and refined intensity and a long finish.” (Le Guide Gilbert & Gaillard 2022). A very fine Costières with aging potential.

About the estate:
François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.
