"A refined structure, body, and complexity define this wine with aging potential."

The palate is elegant and complex, with beautiful body and a powerful structure refined by expert aging. This 18-month aging in barrels (no new barrels), followed by one year in tanks, lends creaminess and toasty notes to this fruit-forward wine. Made from old Syrah vines, enhanced with Grenache and Carignan!

Rated Estate: Award-Winning Wines (This producer's wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking very highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline Convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.
