"A surprising rosé with subtle notes of strawberries accented by a hint of salt—the perfect table rosé!"

“A juicy, well-balanced, and fruity blend of Syrah and Grenache. The nose offers notes of wild berries, flowers, and herbs, leading into a medium-bodied palate with fresh acidity. Lively and fruity with a tangy finish. Made from biodynamically grown grapes certified by Demeter. Enjoy now. ” (James Suckling 2025)

Rated Estate: Award-Winning Wines (This producer's wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking very highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline Convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.

Vinous

Vinous

Wine rated (2025 guide) 90/100

About the wine:

The medium-bodied Galets Rosé 2024 is a complex, nuanced, and flavorful wine that draws heavily on a core of minerality to create intrigue. Notes of garrigue, red cherry, strawberry, crushed stone, and gravel are enlivened by a persistent acidity that leads to a long, mineral-like finish. There’s a lot to love here.
