"A consensual vintage that is both generous and fruity!"

"A beautiful bright red, offering aromas of red cherries, red currants, and dried pepper on the nose. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins. Lots of energy, with a precise and vibrant finish. Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Marselan. Made from biodynamically grown grapes certified by Demeter. Drink now or keep. (James Suckling 2025)

About the estate:

A true pioneer in the qualitative revival of the appellation, this estate has a variety of terroirs, which it uses to create blends that strike a balance between finesse and structure. The wines are of a very high quality and continue to improve. In summer, François and Anne Collard offer walking and mountain biking tours around the property, allowing visitors to discover their terroir and the region's flora and fauna. It's well worth a visit! An estate of excellence with a few exceptional plots of old vines, producing consistent, understated wines that win us over every year.

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

François Collard is a regular feature in the Guide, with wines that often rank highly. Established in 1994, he produced his first bottles from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, owned by the Ursuline convent in Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, which takes its name from a 14th-century watchtower dominating the vast Beaucaire plain. Never short of ideas, the Collard couple invite visitors to discover all the facets of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth terminals.
