James Suckling
"Generous and lively—this is the estate's must-try white wine!"
“A fresh, lively, and textured blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Vermentino. Notes of fresh lemon, warm herbs, and stone on the nose. Medium-bodied, it features a fresh core of blanched almonds and sliced green pears that lend it freshness and balance. Lively and well-structured.” (James Suckling 2024)

About the estate:
François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking very highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 ha certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline Convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower overlooking the vast Beaucaire plain. Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.
