About the estate:
François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.

Wine rated (2025 guide) 90/100
About the wine:
The medium-bodied Galets Rosé 2024 is a complex, nuanced, and flavorful wine that relies heavily on a core of minerality to create intrigue. Notes of garrigue, red cherry, strawberry, crushed stone, and gravel are enlivened by a persistent acidity that leads to a long, mineral-like finish. There is much to love here.
