“Generous and lively, this is the estate’s must-try white wine!”

“The nose offers lively notes of ripe apples, dried pears, and sweet spices; the palate is medium-bodied. Fruity with moderate acidity, a smooth texture, and more pear on the finish. Made from biodynamically grown grapes certified by Demeter. Ready to drink now.” (James Suckling 2025)

About the estate:

A true pioneer in the appellation’s quality revival, this estate boasts diverse terroirs that it skillfully blends to create wines that strike a balance between finesse and structure. Of the highest quality, the wines continue to improve. In the summer, François and Anne Collard offer walking and mountain biking tours around the property, allowing visitors to explore their terroir and the region’s flora and fauna. It’s well worth the detour! A top-tier estate with several exceptional plots of old vines, producing consistent, understated wines that impress us year after year.

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated Estate Award-winning Wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.
