"This age-worthy wine is characterized by its refined structure, body, and complexity"

The palate is elegant and complex, with beautiful depth and a powerful structure refined by careful aging. Aged for 18 months in barrels (no new barrels) followed by one year in tanks, this process lends a smooth texture and toasted notes to this fruit-forward wine. Made from old Syrah vines enhanced with Grenache and Carignan!

About the estate:

A true pioneer in the appellation’s quality revival, this estate boasts diverse terroirs that it skillfully blends to create wines that strike a balance between finesse and structure. Of the highest quality, the wines continue to improve. In the summer, François and Anne Collard offer walking and mountain biking tours around the property, allowing visitors to explore their terroir and the region’s flora and fauna. Rated Estate Award-winning Wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.
