Réserve Perrin en blanc is a Côtes-du-Rhône with a distinct personality, the result of the expression of White Grenache and Viognier, among other varieties, grown on the cool, light soils of the Cairanne and Jonquières communes, which rest on limestone-based alluvial deposits. A balanced and well-rounded 2008 vintage, with an elegant nose evoking toasted bread. Best enjoyed with Mediterranean-inspired cuisine...

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring estates in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
